The Experience
From Creativity to Industry-Ready Skills

Education in Asia is transforming rapidly. As digital learning accelerates, the challenge now lies in preparing students not just to understand technology, but to create with it.
HOVARLAY bridges that gap through its no-code Augmented Reality (AR) platform, HOVARLAY Creator, making it possible for educators and students to build interactive experiences that merge creativity, storytelling, and technology without any coding skills required.
Through workshops and showcases, HOVARLAY introduced hands-on AR creation experiences that helped students translate creative ideas into immersive, real-world applications. The platform allows them to design AR content for packaging, posters, and storytelling, preparing them to work with brands and industry partners in the future.
The Transformation Journey
Challenge
Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice
Across Southeast Asia, educators face a growing need to equip students with future-ready, industry-relevant digital skills. While schools teach creativity and theory, students often lack access to practical tools that connect classroom learning to real-world experience, especially in design, marketing, and communication fields.

Strategy
Making AR Creation Accessible to All Students
HOVARLAY introduced HOVARLAY Creator, a no-code AR platform that empowers students and educators to create AR experiences as easily as designing in Canva, but with the added power of immersive, interactive storytelling.
The initiative began through university roadshows and workshops in Indonesia and expanded to the Design WAH! Showcase 2025 in Singapore. There, HOVARLAY powered AR activations for students’ artwork from leading design schools, offering visibility, collaboration, and commercialization opportunities.
Participating Schools included:
Singapore
- 3dsense Media School
- MAGES Institute of Excellence
- Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)
- Nanyang Polytechnic
- Temasek Polytechnic

Outcome
Empowering Students with Industry-Ready Skills
By integrating HOVARLAY into learning and showcase environments, students gained hands-on exposure to AR content creation, learning how to transform physical designs into interactive, data-driven experiences that brands can use for campaigns, exhibitions, or product storytelling.
Educators reported higher engagement levels and a deeper understanding of how digital tools can enhance creative thinking. More importantly, students walked away with portfolio-ready, industry-relevant projects that opened doors to future collaboration with brands and creative agencies.
